I bought a motorcycle battery less than a year ago for my bike with a 2 year warranty and it is a daily if not every other day ride. Would no longer hold a charge and the employees here say the battery was neglected, sitting too long, thus voiding warranty. The bike does not sit for more than a 24 to 48 hour period. I will no longer deal with this business as they do not honor warranties.

I have had a commercial account with this company for years however the New Braunfels location very much so missed the mark on customer service this time. I'd called before I went and the service representative told me that they had two batteries that would fit my vehicle. I then took the battery out ticket to them they looked it up without asking me any questions and said they didn't have one in stock. I explained that I had just called and they then finally decided to look up the vehicle. They've been found they had two Alternatives in stock. When the customer service representative went to grab the battery and compare it to my original battery he said it and some battery acid that was left from a previous customer. I had told him that there was battery acid before he set it down and he said that's okay. Not wanting to get the battery acid in the back of my SUV grabbed my original battery and just left. I took a trip 30 minutes down the road to another Batteries Plus Bulbs and got excellent customer service. I would not recommend the New Braunfels Batteries Plus Bulbs location.

BEWARE of getting a new key for your car at this location. I paid several hundred dollars for a new key and fob at Bulbs and Batteries and the key they gave me was defective. I’m not sure what is wrong with it but it doesn’t work consistently which has left me stranded and unable to start my car. The last time my car wouldn’t start, I was able to use a back up key to take my car to the dealership. They told me the programming on the key was done incorrectly and I had to spend $135 to fix it. When I went back to Bulbs and Batteries to talk about the problem and get a refund on the program fee, they were incredibly unhelpful. They said if I was able to use the key to drive off, then their work had to be right - despite my receipt from the Dealership saint the programming was incorrect. They refused to work with me in any way. And as a result of their poor performance I was stranded on two occasions and now out an additional $135 to fix their error. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GETTING CAR KEYS MADE AT THIS LOCATION.
